Just before the long weekend, e-petrol.pl experts report not so good news for drivers. Everything indicates that the rising trend in fuel prices will continue next week.

All Saints’ Day is behind us, but in the coming days many drivers will go on longer routes again. The reason is, of course, the upcoming long weekend that awaits all those who took November 10 off. Favorable weather encourages trips outside the city, but drivers’ enthusiasm may be dampened by rising fuel prices, both wholesale and at gas stations.

E-petrol.pl analysts Gabriela Kozan and Dr. Jakub Bogucki point out that in the first week of November, wholesale increases concerned all types of fuels, although their scale varied.

The highest, by 1.83%. (+PLN 87.60/m3), the price of diesel oil has increased and it currently costs PLN 4,869.4/m3. 95 petrol increased by 0.52%. (+PLN 23.40/cubic m), and 98 petrol by 1.48%. (+PLN 72.20/cubic m). The price of heating oil also increased – by 1.99%, or PLN 67.40/cubic m.– experts calculate.

How much will drivers pay for fuel over the long weekend?

Price changes at refineries were quickly reflected in retail prices. Last week, refuellers saw higher prices at gas stations again. The average nationwide price of diesel oil increased by 7 groszy and currently amounts to PLN 6.11/l. The popular “95” price increased by 5 groszy, reaching PLN 5.94/l, and autogas – after a slight increase by 1 grosz – costs on average PLN 2.60/l.

How much will drivers pay in the coming week, i.e. during holidays? Forecasts by e-petrol.pl analysts indicate that the upward trend will unfortunately continue. Pb98 petrol will cost from PLN 6.63 to PLN 6.74/l, Pb95 from PLN 5.91 to PLN 6.02/l, diesel from PLN 6.10 to PLN 6.22/l, while autogas will remain in the range of PLN 2.59–2.66/l.

The good news is that those who refuel at Orlen can count on discounts for a few more days. The promotion prepared by the company will last until November 11 this year. Users of the loyalty application can refuel up to 150 liters of petrol or diesel with a discount of up to 35 groszy per liter.
