At the other end of Poland in an hour. These plane tickets cost less than a train

Can the journey around Poland a budget carrier Ryanair be cheaper than the PKP train? It turns out that yes. The known line even pierces express warehouses and lowers prices.
Moving from one to the other end of Poland can take a lot of time, especially if you go by car or train. Although you can count on express connections, the plane always wins with them. Now, thanks to the promotion of Ryanair, instead of going from Krakow to Gdańsk for 5 or 7 hours, we will get there for less money.
A plane cheaper than a train
The current promotion of Ryanair allows you to take advantage of many discounts on travel and Polish travels. This time, cheap tickets to cities such as Gdańsk, Kraków, Wrocław and Lublin drew our attention. It turns out that many of them are cheaper now than to go with PKP. To take advantage of the discounts, you should book a flight until February 28. The journey itself can be made between March 1 and April 30.
What connections will be the most favorable? There are a lot of them, but the greatest attention is deserved by long distance, which takes many hours by train. The plane can bring us around an hour or faster, and now also very cheap. Prices depend on selected dates.
From Krakow to Gdańsk for PLN 62
The combination of Ryanair from Krakow to Gdańsk is a hit. On some March days, we will pay PLN 62 for tickets, in others 66 or 69 PLN. Even more such cheap tickets are available on April. Importantly, from one end of Poland to the other, we will get in an hour and 10 minutes, which means that even by adding time for briefing, we will reach there much faster than by train, paying less.
We checked the PKP offer and it shows that currently 90 to 225 PLN is paid for the same direct journey at the second cash register. Usually the price is higher if we decide on an Express IC composition – before you drive 5 hours, while ordinary IC covers this route in time to 8 hours. It seems that the flight will be a more favorable option in this case.
Travelers at an equally low price can return from Gdańsk to Krakow, and for about PLN 62 they can also go from the sea to Wrocław or Lublin and vice versa. In this case, they will also reach their destination in an hour, and cheaper than with PKP. The cheapest train ticket from Gdańsk to Wrocław now costs PLN 79, and from Gdańsk to Lublin from PLN 80, travel time is about 5.5 hours. Of course, trains travelers can benefit from student discounts or for a senior. Sometimes they also pay less when buying a ticket a month in advance, but in each of these cases the journey will take them longer than by plane. What do you think about such an alternative?
