When going to the Polish seaside, tourists take into account not only the hotel offer, prices and water temperature, but also the quality of beaches, safety and infrastructure. They are taken into account when awarding the award in the form of a flag. There is no shortage of places in Poland that can boast of it.

Featured swimming areas in Poland

According to rmf.fm, in the 2026 season, as many as 34 locations have been distinguished in Poland, including 25 beaches on the Baltic Sea. It is worth remembering, however, that even selected beaches and swimming areas may have cyanobacteria in the summer. Before leaving, it is always best to check GIS messages.

When it comes to a specific city, it is in the best position Gdańsk – as many as six swimming areas received distinctions there: Jelitkowo, Brzeźno at Dom Zdrojowy, Stogi, Sobieszewo, Orle on Sobieszewska Island and Przystań Tamka. Other places on the list include: Międzyzdroje, Dziwnów, Mrzeżyno, Pogorzelica, Mielno and Lubczyna.

Patryk Jaskulski, a Member of the Polish Parliament from Szczecin and a city activist, mentioned the success of the swimming pools on Instagram. In one of his posts, he boasted that Western Pomerania is again number 1 in Poland. “Our beaches and marinas have once again won the most Blue Flags in the country, 34 distinguished locations,” he commented.
