Another tranche of welcome payments at PPK. Who will gain PLN 250?

The value of assets accumulated in employee capital plans exceeded the record level of PLN 40 billion. The program is already used by nearly 3.96 million people. The Polish Development Fund announced that PLN 29.8 million was sent to financial institutions as welcome payments for the second quarter of 2025. These funds were distributed between 119 thousand. participants of PPK.

For comparison, 93.5 thousand received a welcome payment in the first quarter. people, and the total sum exceeded PLN 23.4 million. The increase in the number of beneficiaries indicates the growing interest in the program, whose main goal is to encourage Poles to save additional retirement.

The PPK system is based on co -financing by three pages: an employee, employer and a state. The participant accumulates 2 percent gross remuneration, the employer adds 1.5 percent, and the state provides support in the form of PLN 250 welcome payment and annual PLN 240 subsidies. The funds accumulated in PPK can be paid after the age of 60.

A one -time welcome payment, financed from the Labor Fund, is entitled to persons who have the status of a PPK participant for at least three full calendar months and pay basic contributions. According to the rules, the payment is recorded on the participant’s account within 45 days of the end of the quarter – in the case of the second quarter of 2025 at the latest on August 14.

Next bonuses

People who have not met the conditions during this period can count on the bonus at the next date. The next chance to receive PLN 250 will appear in November 2025. The state of funds on the PPK account can be checked on an ongoing basis on the websites of financial institutions or in the MojePPK system.

At the end of 2024, PLN 30.24 billion was accumulated in PPK. Within eight months, this value increased by nearly PLN 10 billion, which proves the dynamic development of the program.
