This year there is another convenience for taxpayers. The Ministry of Finance announced the launch of an application that allows you to use the e-Tax Office on your phone.

Settlement with the tax office. A new convenience for taxpayers

Deputy Minister of Finance and deputy head of the National Tax Administration (KAS), Małgorzata Krok, explains that unlike in the case of e-Tax Office on the website, application users log in only once to their trusted profile and then enter the application using their PIN number. or biometrics. Using the application does not require an electronic signature.

The data is not stored on the device, so even if you lose your phone, it is safe. It is also possible to disable access to the application from the website, which is beneficial when we have lost our phone – explains Krok.

The e-Tax Office application allows you to submit tax returns such as PIT, CIT, VAT, as well as settle inheritance and donation taxes. Registration forms and documents related to the SME procedure are also available.

As mycompanypolska.pl notes, one of the key functionalities of the application is the ability to pay taxes via online transfers or BLIK. In mid-February, another option will be introduced – card payment, similar to that used in online stores.

For now, the application will be available to taxpayers settling their personal income tax. However, representatives of the Ministry of Finance announce its further development. In the future, the application will enable the submission of settlements by proxies, which will be an important convenience for tax advisors and lawyers. It is also planned to expand the range of available e-declarations with pre-filled fields.
