Anna Lewandowska fights against fraudsters. “It’s some kind of Armageddon”

Without a doubt, Anna Lewandowska is one of the most popular sportswomen in Poland. For years, it has been promoting healthy eating and physical activity, encouraging Poles to work on themselves. She is an inspiration to many people, and she is followed by over 5 million Internet users on social media. Unfortunately, due to her high recognition, her image is sometimes exploited.

Recently, there has been a lot of talk about unfair advertising practices that use the images of famous people. The victims of this type of promotion of non-existent products include: Martyna Wojciechowska, who later denied that she promoted slimming products. Now Anna Lewandowska has spoken on this topic. In an interview with “Wirtualne media”, the sportswoman emphasized that not only her reputation suffers, but also Internet users who are deceived by false advertisements.
– These advertisements are some kind of Armageddon, very difficult to stop, also legally. Our lawyers, of course, have already dealt with the matter, we contacted Meta and took legal action because my image was illegally used in contexts that crossed all boundaries, she confessed.
Robert Lewandowski’s wife emphasized that some people had personally reported the problem to her. – Unfortunately, many people fell for it. It’s very sad because I receive messages from people who have been deceived, she said, adding that she does not rule out the possibility of cooperation with companies owned by Mark Zuckerberg to more effectively prevent the spread of false content and advertisements. – I want to work together with Meta and the relevant state authorities to stop this type of advertising or to block this type of false content immediately – she said.
Moreover, Anna Lewandowska revealed that she did not intend to stop with legal actions. The trainer wants to get involved in educating the public on how to recognize online fraud. — We are working on an educational campaign that will increase awareness of the threats. We want to show that this type of practice cannot be ignored, she concluded.
