Andrzej Duda stole the show with his trick with the balls. That was just the beginning. “Wow, that’s awesome!”

Andrzej Duda surprised Polish basketball players in Paris. The trick with the balls and the pen was only the beginning of the president’s possibilities.
Andrzej Duda flew to Paris to take part in the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games and watch live the competition of Polish representatives, including our male and female volleyball players. The president also opened the Polish House in Paris. “This is a special place where Poland, the history of the Polish Olympic movement and Polish sport will be presented,” he emphasized.

The president, who is known for his passion for sports, also found time for a short basketball game. Piotr Grabowski challenged the head of state – he wondered if he would be able to perform a spectacular slam dunk. Andrzej Duda immediately caught the ball, but the shot missed the basket. However, the president did not give up, he tried again and this time he made a successful shot. – We once won the Kraków championship with our school team – he commented.
A moment later Andrzej Duda decided to try his hand at a basketball trick. This time, he was accompanied by his coach, Kacper Lachowicz. A recording appeared on the web, showing Andrzej Duda holding two spinning balls on pens. After a moment, the president reached for his private smartphone and started showing the Polish athletes photos. – Wow, that’s awesome! The Bay of Puck. What respect, really – said Kacpa.

One of the journalists decided to ask the famous basketball coach what he saw on the president’s phone. – The president showed us photos from his driving lessons. It’s a wakeboard, but on a special arm, as a result of which you ride about a meter above the water. Honestly, I don’t even know how it works. The great thing was that he laughed at himself, saying that first he had to get in the water a few times to learn how to stand on it – the athlete described.
Last year Andrzej Duda he boasted on social media that he tried his hand at a new water sport – wingfoil. It was probably these photos that he showed the basketball players.
Kacper Lachowicz emphasized that “as a coach, I thank the president for these words that he is learning, because in his opinion, as a society, instead of laughing, we should understand one thing.” – If someone who holds the office of head of state, leaving aside personal views, says that it is not a shame to learn, he raises a very important issue: it is never too late to learn and regardless of age, we should not be ashamed of doing something that we are not good at initially – he assessed.
