An innovative solution for business: Plus and Ericsson offer private 5G campus networks

Polkomtel, the Plus network operator, has signed an agreement with Ericsson, thanks to which he will offer Polish enterprises private ENTERPRISE campus networks – Ericsson Private 5G. This is the first such partnership in our country, which aims to provide dedicated 5G Ericsson campus networks ensuring the highest level of security based on the most modern data transmission technology.
Campus networks based on 5G technology is a solution ensuring an independent private network (Non-Public Networks) for the exclusive disposal of a given enterprise or institution. Speeding 5G networks are particularly needed in industries such as industrial production, new technologies, logistics, education, as well as in mining and energy sectors. The signed agreement will allow the Polish Independent Private 5G Ericsson campus networks to be launched to the Polish market. This will result in accelerating industry development 4.0, digitization of key industries of the Polish economy and the implementation of the latest global Ericsson communication technologies.
Close cooperation, based on Plus and Ericsson’s many years of partnership, which successfully implemented the first 5G network in Poland together, this time it will translate into joint involvement of both companies in creating innovative solutions and establishing new communication standards for enterprises.

Ericsson Private 5G is distinguished by a very high speed of data transmission, minimal delays (ping), reliability and the highest level of security thanks to the use of a dedicated radio band and isolation from other networks. It provides a number of innovative functionalities, such as remote control in real time, e.g. autonomous vehicles and mobile robots, or a precise location inside buildings using 5G services, which is crucial for industries requiring tracking and management of fixed assets. These networks have been designed for simple use, scalability and friendly IT solutions that provide enterprises with easy adaptation and expansion capacity with changing needs.
