An important moment for the Polish army. It will be the first such flight
On Wednesday afternoon, the first flight of the Polish pilot took place, who sat at the controls of the American f-35 fighter. A great event was preceded by preparations.
General Ireneusz Nowak informed about the first Polish military flight in the F-35 TV station. Just behind the pilot, in the second fighter, there was an American instructor.
The Air Force Inspector in the General Command of the Armed Forces indicated that this type of flight is called the “Chase” formation (in English it can be translated as “to go”). The second pilot will assess the skills of the first, analyze the correctness of his maneuvers.

Gen. Nowak revealed that in the United States, on F-35-a single-seater, single-engine, multi-purpose aircraft with reduced detection-currently six Polish pilots are trained. Two military have already moved to the flying phase. This is the second part of the training, which begins with learning to use the machine on special simulators. – Half of the training behind them, because they finished this simulator phase, so we expect that the gradation – the official completion of the training of Polish pilots – will take place at the beginning of April – said the inspector.
After completing the training, two pilots will remain in America. This is because they intend to take an instructor course to be able to teach others. As for the military who will pass their new skills in a few months, in the opinion of General Nowak they will be considered “fully trained combat pilots”.
The commander learned in an interview with pilots that thanks to the training “they discovered all the secrets and abilities of the F-35”. “There are many more than previously shown,” he noted.

What will the F-35 be useful for in the event of an outbreak of war? – He will be a fighter of the first days of the conflict (armed – ed.) – noted General Nowak.
“His main mission will be to take over the opponent’s air defense,” he added. Therefore, the Polish agreement is important, concluded for obtaining radar missiles, integrated with Polish F-35. Next to the Netherlands, Australia, Finland or the USA, Poland is their disabled user. In the general’s opinion, this is a clear signal about “Poland in the region”.
