“Note, due to the threat of impacts of unmanned aerial vehicles (BSP) in the regions of Ukraine bordering the Republic of Poland, the operation of military aviation in our airspace began,” said Cod.

As indicated, this was decided “to ensure the safety of the airspace” over Poland. “The RSZ operational commander has launched all the necessary procedures. Polish and allied aircraft operate in our space, and ground air defense and radar diagnosis reached the state of the highest readiness,” we read.

“These activities are preventive and are focused on protecting the airspace and protection of citizens, especially in areas adjacent to the endangered area. The RSZ operational command monitors the current situation, and subordinate forces and funds remain in full readiness for immediate reaction,” it was assured.

“Due to the activities of military aviation, the airport in Lublin and the controlled zone around the airport were closed to air operations. We will inform you on a regular basis about the development of the situation,” informs the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency (Polish Air Navigation Agency).

“In connection with the threat of Russian drones operating over Ukraine near the border with Poland, in our space the preventive operation of aviation – Polish and allied. Napling air defense systems achieved the state of the highest readiness,” said Donald Tusk.
