This is an important change for anglers that not everyone knows about yet. The “Nasz Fishing Plancy” program has ended, which enabled amateur fishing on selected fishing circuits managed by Polish Waters based on one nationwide fee.

From 2025, anglers who want to fish in these areas must obtain permits issued by relevant regional water management boards.

New fees for anglers in Polish waters in 2025

The “Nasz Fisheries” program enabled amateur anglers to fish on selected fishing circuits managed by Polish Waters on the basis of one nationwide fee. However, the program has been completed, and from 2025 anglers must obtain permits from individual regional water management boards.

Polish Waters emphasize that the “Nasz Fisheries” program only concerned the fisheries made available by this institution, and not all available fisheries in Poland. Most of the fishing circuits are managed by various users, such as fishing farms, associations or natural persons, selected through competitions of offers by RZGW directors.

Therefore, Polish Waters are not responsible for the price policy in fisheries leased by these users.

To legally fish in Polish inland waters, every angler must have a fishing card issued for life by the Poviat Eldership.
