An American traveler enchanted by Poland. He didn’t expect what he saw
A popular American traveler published materials from his stay in Poland online. Zakopane made a great impression on him. What did he notice?
Popular internet creator Christian Grossi, who posts reports from his travels online, shared his impressions of his stay in Poland on social media. The traveler was very excited about what the southern part of our country looked like in particular. “Poland has much more to offer than you think” – he said in the published recording.
An American traveler appeared in Zakopane. What did he notice?
In a recording published on Facebook, Christian Grossi drew attention to the development of Zakopane. He also assessed that the city stands out from other European resorts.
– Poland has mountain towns that most people have never seen in their lives. Look what you can see just in this part of the city center – he said. It showed horse-drawn carriages, a river flowing in the very center, and the appearance of local buildings.
–It’s a real mountain town. Virtually all furniture is made of wood, and the houses have characteristic pointed roofs – he reported.
– Look at the accommodations here. Virtually every room has a balcony. In the morning you can enjoy breakfast on the terrace. Poles love to eat outdoors, on terraces, and I think this is great. Almost every restaurant has a garden or outdoor space, he added.
The American also drew attention to the amount of greenery. – The whole city is basically like a huge park, which is really cool. There are benches to sit on, trees grow literally everywhere, and the streets are paved with cobblestones, he said. He also stated that “it is a very unique place that probably no one would have thought was located in Poland.”
A wave of Internet users’ comments
There were many comments under the American’s recording. Both Poles and foreigners. “I’m always surprised by all these surprised foreigners. Do you really think that in Poland there are bears that roam the streets and that we live in trees?” – asked one of the commenters. There were also voices from residents of other countries who recalled their stay in Zakopane. The traveler was also encouraged to visit, among others: Toruń, Gdańsk, Gdynia and Sopot.
