Ambassador of Rwanda in Ptak Warsaw Expo about the beginnings of the new cooperation

Anastase SHYAKA, Ambasador Rwandy w Ptak Warsaw Expo

“In Rwanda we will find Frypol from Łódź, Asseco from the IT industry and many construction, technological and agricultural companies. We are also waiting for the development of importers from the coffee and tea sector, who will bring our true flavors of Rwanda to Poland.”

Do you remember the ambassador’s first visit to Ptak Warsaw Expo?

I remember it very well, my friend invited me to one of the events in Ptak Warsaw Expo – it was six months ago. I was very interested in what market possibilities Poland has, because so far we knew exhibitions in France, Berlin or Amsterdam. We did not have knowledge about tags organized in Poland at that time. And when I appeared and saw how many people there are, how many exhibitors – I knew it would be a good place for Rwanda. Thanks to this visit I had the opportunity to meet the president of Ptak Warsaw Expo Tomasz Szypula and it began. We talked about the fact that Rwanda would like to in Nadarzyn – as the first point to pay off her national goods in this part of Europe. Today’s presence of Rwanda in EXPO is as the first point promoting its products not only in Poland, but also in Central and Eastern Europe. I believe that this is the right beginning of promotional activities that will create a space for joint activities.

Rwanda is a picturesque country that is famous for her delicious coffee and tea. What else is this interesting Europe for this?

Rwanda is famous primarily for tourism, but we also have the greatest population of gorillas in the world and an interesting development of new technologies. But the world of sport is also not foreign to us, because next year international cycling competitions will be held in the rounds. This is one of the fastest growing countries of the African continent and one of the leading, which promotes foreign investments. We invite Polish investors to our country – our African continent.

More and more companies are being created that are open to cooperation on the African market. A lot of enterprises open their branches, buy real estate for tourism and get acquainted with the culture that prevails in a given country. Of course, it favors the development of both countries.

I absolutely agree with you, I can only add that we are glad that there are more and more investors in Rwanda. In the field of transformation is the Polish company Luma, which has its own daughter company, very dynamically operating in our region. In Rwanda you will also find Frypol from Łódź, Asseco from the IT industry and many construction, technology and agricultural companies. We are also waiting for the development of importers from the coffee and tea sector, who will bring our real flavors of Rwanda to Poland. Our country is conducive to the economic and economic economy, combining two countries, two continents. I invite everyone to joint activities that will affect the further development of the world economy on various levels.
