After the election, fuel prices will rise? Analysts put the matter clearly

The growing oil ratings will not reverse the inheritance trend, but it can contribute to inhibition of discounts at petrol stations – anti -teetrol.pl analysts predict.

Analysts E-Tetrol.pl dr Jakub Bogucki and Grzegorz Maziak note that observed in the first half of May this year. The increase in crude oil ratings was reflected in wholesale fuels in Poland. Currently, a cubic meter of 95-octane gasoline is valued in the refineries on average at PLN 4,515.00 and it is a price by PLN 53.80 higher than at the beginning of the month. Diesel in the same period increased by PLN 23.80 and today costs an average of PLN 4,530.00/cubic meter.

At the stations in the ending week, E10 gasoline has been the most, the price of which dropped by 6 groszy and is currently 5.73 PLN/l. Diesel with an average price of 5.79 PLN/l is 5 grosze cheaper than a week ago. The same reduction was recorded in the case of autogas, the price of which dropped to a level of 2.94 PLN/l.

E-Petrol.pl experts point out that from this year’s price peaks from the end of January 95-octane gasoline E10 has made 8 percent. And diesel by over 9 percent

Fuel prices next week

Will refueling at gas stations in Poland remain as cheap as before? According to e-petrol.pl analysts, violent changes should not be expected, but the perspective for the next week is moderately optimistic, which is related to the aforementioned increase in oil. – The scale of raises in the refineries is not fortunately large and on the retail market can contribute more to the discharge and price stabilization than to reverse the inheritance trend – write Dr. Bogucki and Maziak.

Estimated by e-petrol.pl analysts, price ranges for individual fuel species for the period of 19-23 May are as follows:

  • 5.70-5.81 PLN/l for E10 gasoline,

  • 5,74-5.86 PLN/l for diesel,

  • PLN 2.88-2.94/l for autogas.
