A popular tour operator from Bristol is in trouble. The British company Wayfairer Travel has been successfully carrying out trips since 2012, including: to Japan, Kenya, Peru and the Maldives. This season, many people again counted on using proven services. It turns out that this is not possible and the future of the company is in doubt.
Wayfairer Travel suspends all tours
Wayfairer Travel trips are suspended until further notice, which means potential travelers are unsure whether they will go where they planned to go. Many people were supposed to leave in September, so the situation is quite disappointing. The company’s spokesman did not remain indifferent, but it seems that there is not much that can be done at the moment.
“We are very sorry for the concerns and uncertainty caused by the current situation,” it announced in a message to customers.
No detailed information about the case was provided, citing ongoing discussions with accountants and lawyers. Holidaymakers who had bookings by September 30 were advised not to travel and others were asked to wait for further information.
Actions were initiated to defend tourists
After the unpleasant information came to light, the case was taken up by ABTOT (Association of Bonded Travel Organizers Trust), a British organization that provides financial protection for clients of travel agencies. Injured customers can now ask for help.

Tourists, as in the case of Wayfairer Travel, were not saved by the fact that they used the services of a proven brand that has been operating on the market for many years.
