PKO BP announced a technical break. On the night of March 7-8, some functions of the IKO and iPKO biznes applications will be unavailable.

Customers of PKO Bank Polski should prepare for a short technical break in electronic banking. On the night of March 7-8, 2026, some of the services available in the mobile application and online banking system will be temporarily disabled.

Technical work

According to the bank, technical work will start at 00:01 and last until 06:00 in the morning. During this time, the most important functions of the IKO mobile application and the iPKO biznes system will be unavailable. This means that users will not be able to use many popular forms of payment and transaction authorization.

During the scheduled six-hour break, you will not be able to make mobile payments or confirm transactions via the app. Among other things, contactless payments by phone and BLIK transactions made in the mobile application will be blocked.

The bank points out that people planning to make important transfers or online purchases should do it in advance, before the start of the technical break. This will help them avoid problems with making payments at night.

During service work, customers who want to confirm financial operations or online payments secured by the 3D-Secure 2 mechanism will only be able to use SMS codes. However, mobile authorization, which usually allows you to quickly approve operations directly in the banking application, will be unavailable.

Shopping problems

For some users, this may be important, especially in the case of planned online purchases or transfers made at night. However, the bank emphasizes that the break was planned at a time when customer activity is usually the lowest, in order to limit inconvenience.

PKO Bank Polski explains that the planned shutdown of services is related to the need to carry out technical work. Their goal is to maintain a high level of security and reliability of banking systems.

After completing the planned activities, all functions of the IKO application and the iPKO biznes system are to return to normal operation. The bank apologizes to customers for the inconvenience and reminds that current information on the operation of services can be found on its official websites.
