TCS announces mass layoffs. By the end of 2025, 12,000 will lose his job. people due to falling demand and costs.

The Indian technological giant TATA Consultancy Services (TCS) announced a global reduction of employment. By the end of 2025, the company plans to release about 12,000 employees around the world. According to Pulshr, the decision is a response to falling revenues and less demand for services offered by the company.

Less customers

In the official announcement, TCS said that orders from new customers are lower than expected. In addition, current contractors are increasingly limiting expenses, and some services previously commissioned to the company are now performing on their own. The situation is also affected by the economic slowdown in China, which weakens the global IT services market.

Currently, TCS employs approximately 613,000 people around the world. The company provides IT services, accounting, data storage and cloud solutions – both for global companies belonging to the Dad group and for Indian companies conducting foreign activities.

High position on the market

Despite the operational difficulties, the TCS brand maintains a high position on the market. In the Brand Finance Technology ranking, she advanced from 25 to the 20th place among the most valuable global technological brands. Earlier, at the beginning of the year, she was also recognized as the second most valuable IT Service brand in the world with a quote of $ 21.3 billion.
