A treat for cycling fans. A film about the Polish legend will be made

Cyclist Rafał Majka will have his own documentary series. The Papaya Films studio will be responsible for the production. Filming starts in May.

The hero of the new project of Papaya Films studio will be Rafał Majkaone of the greatest Polish road cyclists in history. The production will show his path from triumphs in the world’s largest races to the role of a key helper in the team UAE Team Emirates.

From the Tour de France to working for Pogacar. They will show the story of Rafał Majka

Majka made history as the first Pole to win the Grand Tour classification. He won the jersey of the best highlander of the race twice Tour de France – in 2014 and 2016. He also won an Olympic medal in 2016 and stage victories in many of the largest cycling races.

The creators of the documentary about Majka have announced a three-part series. The production will feature riders associated with UAE Team Emirates and famous Polish cyclists, including: Maciej Bodnar, Michał Gołąsz and Tomasz Marczyński.

The film’s producer, Kacper Sawicki, emphasizes that Majka’s story shows the unique side of cycling and indicates the possibility of redefining her career and finding herself in a new role despite the passage of years and the enormous pressure of results.

Filming for the documentary about Rafał Majka will start in May, and the premiere is scheduled for spring 2027.
