A tragic accident on a slope in Austria. The Pole is fighting for his life
A 30-year-old Pole is fighting for his life after an accident, which experiences from the slope on a snowboard board. The police are not sure how the incident occurred.
According to the Austrian police, the man probably hit the rock. At the moment when the services arrived, the 30-year-old was already unconscious. The Pole was taken to the clinic in Innsbruck. The state of the snowboarder is described as serious, doctors are fighting for his life.
In their announcement, the police said that the rescue operation was extremely difficult. The main reason was that due to the poor weather conditions, the service could not use the helicopter. To transport a Pole down the slope, rescuers had to use a special gondola.
Another tragic accident of a Polish skier
This is another tragic accident involving a Polish snowboarder recently. Less than two months ago, we wrote about a 27-year-old, who in a serious condition went to the hospital after on January 21 on a slope in the Italian Bormio, Lombardy entered him and did not help him another skier. The man was hospitalized, where he was put into a state of pharmacological coma.
The 27-year-old conducted driving classes in Italian for Polish high school students. At some point, the skier riding from above hit Radek at high speed. The collision was very strong, Radek was rejected rapidly and immediately lost consciousness. The perpetrator of the accident lay in the snow for a moment – one of the participants of the class reported.
– I noticed that several people came to him, including my colleague. A friend gave him skis and asked in English if everything was all right. What did the man answer in Polish, saying something like: “What is he talking to me?” He did not give Radek any help, or even looked at him, got up and drove away – she described.
Friends and relatives of the man began looking for a skier who led to an accident. Witnesses described him as a middle -aged man (about 60 years old), with gray hair and a mustache, dressed in a red jacket, black pants, a dark helmet and skis with red details. The man was to go down in the company of two women: older and younger, one of whom was to be dressed in a blue jacket.
