A tragic accident of Legia Warsaw footballer. “The most sincere sympathy”
Ksawery Jeżewski, a footballer of the U-17 Legia Warsaw team, is in a serious condition after a tragic car accident. Unfortunately, the young player’s sister died in the event.
Fatal news came on Thursday, early afternoon. The information appeared on the official club profile dedicated to youth teams.
“Legia U17 player Ksawery Jeżewski is in a hospital in a serious condition after a tragic car accident in which his sister died. The board, club employees, colleagues and coaches from the academy make the most sincere words of sympathy to Ksawery’s parents and connect with them in pain. We will give all possible support to our player and his family. – we read at the social media of the Legia Warsaw Academy.

The accident occurred on Tuesday, i.e. on July 1 on national road No. 60, between the towns of Goślice and Ciachcin (Bielsk. More details of the tragic event were given by Dziennik Płocki.
– The police initially determined that a Toyota vehicle from unexplained reasons came off the road and hit a tree. Unfortunately, despite resuscitation, a young woman was killed on the spot, while the young man was in a serious state to be hospitalized – Monika Jakubowska from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Płock died to Dziennik Płock.
The young player remains wishing to recover as soon as possible. Circuing entries supporting the young footballer appear in social media. Jeżewski is 17 years old and moved to the Warsaw club from Wisła Płock.
Last season, the player performed, among others in the Central Junior League games U-17. Legia, with Jeżewski in the composition, eventually lost the two -legged Wrocław in the competition for the bronze medals of MP Junior Junior. In addition, the player was appointed to the Polish youth national team.
