The fisherman caught a tiny fish. Its size, which does not impress ignorant people, was enough – a new record was set.

Robert Glover’s feat was reported by WV Metro News. Inhabitant Morgantown (Monongalia County) went to the lake by car in early August Cheat. He transported a boat on a trailer, which he then launched on the mentioned reservoir.

At one point he felt a tug – immediately after which he started a fight with a small specimen of the family Centrarchidae (trout fish).

The fishing community is buzzing!

A freshwater fish – sun bass (Lepomis gibbosus) – soon found its way aboard his vessel.

How much did she measure and weigh? Details Glover revealed on the podcast “West Virginia Outdoors”

She measured 9.76 inches (24.79 centimeters) and was certified as 0.75 pounds (0.34 kilograms). This is officially a new West Virginia state record!

An inglorious list. Anglers prefer to pretend it doesn’t exist

Due to the feat of a talented angler from Morgantown, it’s worth remembering this blacklist. It contains records set even decades ago. Despite the passage of time, no daredevil was found who would be able to face them.
