A sunken forest and a beautiful village. A unique place by the sea in Poland

Wioska nad morzem

Places as they are charming, quiet and still unlucky by tourists looking for a strong experience. The charming settlement near the sunken forest, sea and lake will allow rest in the summer and out of season.

I am talking about the head of Pozkino. This one is located between well -known towns such as Łeba and Ustka. It is so small that it has nothing to do with larger agglomerations. The closer climate is the surrounding silent Słowiński National Park in the Smołdzino commune. Here’s why you should know this place.

Good to relax

Above all known villages, those who suffered from excess noise, screens and crowded beaches know that it is worth discovering little -known villages. There are many such, especially if we visit the popular Brzeźno in Gdańsk, Świnoujście and Władysławowo. It is getting more crowded even in Stegna, which just a few years ago was not a frequented town. If this development of the matter bothers you, it is worth thinking about rest at a calm point, from which it is close to larger cities – you can make yourself a one -day trip. If you want to spend the night nearby, you can do it, among others in the town of Smołdziński Las or Smołdzin.

Połpino meets all the conditions to consider them perfect for a quiet summer trip. It impresses not only with the sea, the beach and small paths, but also the wonders of nature and surrounding attractions. This place is at least small, it is famous for its lighthouse located on the highest, forested Wydmie Czędmieńńska (55.1 m above sea level). As for the dune, this is a real treasure in this area, but this is not the end.

Attractions of the Pozkanie. Lake and sunken forest

A hit on the beaches in the vicinity of the Pozkin, as well as Łaz is a sunken forest, i.e. the remains of an ancient forest. These can be seen on the Baltic coast in the Słowiński National Park. These are unique tree trunks that have emerged from the sea and are visible to this day. The whole makes a huge impression. Near this point we will find Lake Dołgie Wielkie or an equally charming town called Smołdziński Las.

These places are best visited on foot or by bike. However, it should be remembered that the admission to the Słowiński National Park is paid, you also have to pay for entering the lantern, and admission to it is only possible until the end of September. If all this, combined with lounging on the beach, will be insufficient for you, it is also worth visiting the Lighthouse keeper’s house, the ruins of the church in Łeba or Lake Łebsko.
