A sudden return of a loud scandal. The prosecutor’s office published a message, it is about Nawrocki

There is a movement of the prosecutor’s office in the so -called “Housing scandal”. Investigators received two notifications – one from Magdalena Biejat and the other from a private person. “There is a reasonable suspicion of committing a crime,” says prosecutor Mariusz Duszyński. The preparatory proceedings started.
The housing scandal shook the coalition electorate on October 15, but it did not have a significant impact on the result of the presidential election 2025. The head of the Institute of National Remembrance – Karol Nawrocki – will be formally sworn in to the head of state in August. He will take an armchair after Andrzej Duda.
In the second half of May, Onet revealed that the Law and Justice politician has two housing-the owner of the second, in Gdańsk, was to become after signing the purchase and sale agreement with a well-known 80-year-old man. The matter is multi -threaded: first Nawrocki was to lend the senior money to the purchase of a premises from the city, and then sign a document that obliged him to pay a specific amount of money. This was to be transferred to the 80-year-old for several years-including by paying rent for the premises. Journalists and some people who were interested in the case saw many unknowns in it – the scandal broke out. Shortly afterwards, the president of the Institute of National Remembrance together with his wife – Marta – decided to donate a studio for charity for a Christian organization (with the proviso that the senior could use a studio until his death).
And although “dust” has “dropped a long time ago”, and the public has practically forgotten about the case, Pomeranian investigators did not forget about it. The District Prosecutor’s Office in Gdańsk-Śródmieście initiated the proceedings-we read in a message of June 16. It all began with notifications “about the possibility of committing a crime in connection with the acquisition of an apartment” – one was submitted by the Deputy Marshal of the Senate, and the other – by a person not mentioned by name.

The list includes 10 places, including Municipal Family Support Center in Gdańsk or the Gdańsk-Północ District Court (specifically the 3rd Department of Land and Mortgage Registers). “After getting acquainted with the sent materials and carrying out the actions of interrogation as a witness – a representative notifying the Mayor of the City of Gdańsk – the prosecutor decided that there was a reasonable suspicion of committing a crime,” we read.
