Wirtualna Polska revealed that the employee and volunteers of the Akcja Democracy Foundation, which sympathizes with the Civic Coalition, stood behind mysterious political advertisements. Trzaskowski assured that he did not know anything and never asked for similar support.
Everything was included in the scientific and academic computer network, supervised by the Ministry of Digitization. She informed that ads from both profiles were blocked after her intervention. Later, NASK representatives repeated this statement several times.

However, Meta stated that she was not guided by the commands of the Polish institution. “Contrary to public statements of NASK, we have not removed any ads related to these sites at the NASK request, because they do not break our rules. The ads are displayed as inactive in the advertising library, because the period of this advertising campaign is over. The finish did not take any action to remove them,” it was announced.

Asked about this issue, NASK responded to Virtual Poland. “NASK submitted these ads to the Meta company and demanded their removal. After our notification, they ceased to be active. For us – as an institution operating as part of an election umbrella – the most important is: stopping attempts to illegally influence the course of Polish elections” – emphasized in the communiqué.

Moreover, NASK points out that “from the perspective of Polish law, these ads were electoral, they were not marked by the election committee and did not meet the requirements of the Electoral Code – which means that they should not appear on the platform at all.”
