A real flood of mushrooms is coming. The expert gave a specific date
– The second outbreak of mushrooms this year has been going on for several days – said Marek Snowarski, the creator of the fungi.pl website. He also revealed when most of them will appear in the forests.

Mushrooms in Poland. Where are the most of them now?
Marek Snowarski, creator of the website mushroom.pl, in an interview with “Fact” revealed what the current situation is in Polish forests and when the most mushrooms should appear.
– The second mushroom outbreak of this year has been going on for several days. It is larger than the one from the second half of July, the expert said. He also added that most specimens can now be found in Mazovia and the entire north-eastern part of Poland. Mushrooms also appear in Greater Poland and Pomerania.
Snowarski emphasized that the season is just starting, so mushrooms are just starting to appear in the forests.
— There’s still some time until autumn. The autumn flood will also be abundant and probably abundant throughout the country. Exactly when is still impossible to predict. Although rather later, in October, rather than at the end of September – said the expert.
The weather is favorable for mushroom growth. Which ones can already be found in the forests?
As we read on the funzy.pl website, the development of fruiting bodies is now favorable “precipitation that occurs across much of the country, coupled with much cooler nights (morning dew is not uncommon) and longer periods of moderate summer temperatures”.
In the forests you can now find boletes, saffron mushrooms, chanterelles, boletes, bay boletes and butterflies. One of the users of the website gryzy.pl reported on his trip to the forest in the Sokółka district. In two hours he gathered there “about 200 brown boletes, 2 kg of chanterelles, five boletes, three bunnies and two boletes”.
