A program that will help thousands of people. The government will cover the majority of the costs of purchasing the equipment

People with disabilities can benefit from funding for the purchase of electronic equipment, which facilitates daily functioning and communication. As part of the barriers to liquidation program, it is possible to obtain financial support that can cover up to 95% of the value of the device. The final amount of the subsidy, however, depends on the type of equipment and meeting certain conditions.

Who is support for?

The goal of the program is to help people for whom modern electronic devices are crucial in everyday life, but their high price is a financial barrier. Support is addressed to people with:

• a certificate of significant, moderate or light disability,

• disability certificate for children up to 16 years old,

• Specific needs arising from disability that can be resolved thanks to funding.

At the same time, people who have arrears against the State Fund for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled (PFRON) or to whom the co -financing agreement has been terminated for reasons lying on their side cannot benefit from the subsidy.

How to get funding?

People interested in receiving support should submit an application together with the required documents. It should be attached to it:

• disability certificate,

• declaration of income and the number of people in the household,

• documentation regarding any other sources of financing,

• Additional attachments required by the local Poviat Help Center.

In 2025, applications can be submitted from March 1 to August 31 through the PFRON service and support system or in the Poviat Family Support Center.

How much can you get?

The amount of co -financing depends on the type of equipment. Maximum support may be:

• up to PLN 3,000 – to buy a laptop, desktop or tablet,
• up to PLN 6,000 – for specialized communication support software,
• up to PLN 10,000 – for equipment adapted to the needs of people with disabilities.

The total amount of subsidy may not exceed 15 times the average salary.

Help, which is of real meaning

The barrier liquidation program is a chance for many people to get modern equipment that will improve their quality of life. It is worth remembering that the funds are limited and interest in the program is growing. Therefore, people who meet the conditions should submit an application as soon as possible and use the available support.
