A popular holiday country needs changes. Cheap all inclusive is the past

At the tourist fair in Berlin, Bulgaria presented herself from a completely different angle. A popular country wants to promote a new form of tourism.
Bulgaria changes her image. Instead of cheap All Inclusive, a popular country will promote luxurious, though still inexpensive stays in spas outside the main resorts. The new promotion strategy was presented during the first day of the ITB International Tourist Fair in Berlin. The panel on the stage was attended by the Deputy Director of the European SPAS SIYKA Katsarova Association and the Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Bulgaria Miroslav Borshosh.
Bulgaria follows the new trail
Bulgaria, popular among Poles, no longer wants to be seen on the international arena only as a party direction or country for cheap all inclusive. Minister of Tourism Miroslav Borshosh believes that this is a good time to change the strategy and promotion of what is best in his country – small spas with thermal waters and an impressive SPA offer. The politician joined the discussion about the future of Bulgaria during the first day of the ITB International Tourist Fair in Berlin on the stage of “medical and health tourism”.
During the panel, together with Siyka Katsarova from the European SPAS association, they presented the most important places to visit in Bulgaria in the spirit of the new strategy. Although there was no golden sand or sunny shore among them, there was also the town of Sapareva Banya, in which there is the hottest geyser in the country, as well as Velingrad, considered the capital of health tourism. Chisaria, a sanatorium with Roman ruins and Pomerania, the largest mud lake in the Balkans also enjoyed interest.
Bulgaria got bored of Poles
Tourists are to be attracted primarily by low prices while maintaining high quality. Bulgarian spa centers will be addressed to a client with medium resources, which would also like to use premium services.
Bulgaria has been one of the most important tourist destinations for tourists from Poland for years. In recent years, however, experts have noticed a decrease in interest in staying at all inclusive in this country. The reason for this trend was to be a modest offer (compared to other holiday giants such as Türkiye or Egypt) and too low hotel standard. Time will tell if Poles will attract a slightly different form of stay in this country.
