A Pole tested the food at Ryanair. These options surprised him
Is eating meals on board Ryanair planes a good idea? A famous YouTuber shows in the video what he found on the plane in the fall and winter season. Here’s how he commented on popular services.
This is another test performed during the trip that appeared in the media. This time it is shared by Dymitr Błaszczyk – creator of the YouTube channel called “Sprawdzam Jak”. For years, he has been sharing various films, including: quality and prices of food products, hotels and various services on the market. He has already shown, among other things, what it is like to travel with PKP Intercity in a carriage with a bed and a shower, and now he boarded the well-known Ryanair airline. This sometimes raises a lot of controversy, including: due to additional fees or cramped conditions on board. What about the food service there? A Pole shares his observations.
The Pole checked the Ryanair service
The man started his tasting with fortified coffee, priced at approximately PLN 16.20. He drew attention, among others, for a comfortable mug with poured coffee in it. “There is a small mesh here that keeps the grounds inside,” the YouTuber explained. He showed that you can get standard milk in the drink. “The coffee is okay, really good,” we hear.
A quick review of the catalog for winter 2025 shows that the menu currently offers five types of sandwiches, snacks priced from EUR 2.75, meal deal sets – priced at EUR 12.50, and drinks. You can also count on hot dishes – green curry and lasagne for 8.5 euros.
This is how the snack test turned out
One of the Youtuber’s choices was a croissant with chocolate for EUR 3.50, or about PLN 15. “Like from Lidl or Biedronka, but three times more expensive” – we hear in the recording. After the first bite, the man emphasizes that “it’s not a tragedy” and considers that the snack is served warm as an additional advantage.
It wasn’t so good with sandwiches. The test was attended by, among others: the one with chicken and mozzarella on wheat bread with seeds. All this for 6.5 euros (approx. PLN 28). Inside – as Dymitr put it – you could find a “mix of frozen food”. “It looks terrible, even embarrassing,” we hear. The meal shown in the video does not really encourage tasting. It turned out that the appearance reflects the taste, because it was also supposed to deter. “This is something that discredits this line,” said the author of the film. The second option was a ham and cheese panini, which, although slightly more expensive, didn’t fare much better.
Finally, it was time for green curry with chicken and rice in a plastic box. The taste test wasn’t perfect here either. “If you expect to eat with pleasure, then absolutely not. You will only eat to fill your hunger,” we hear. The Pole comments that, in his opinion, it is completely unprofitable to use such products on short routes. Finally we see the lasagne bolognese, rated as average but better than the curry. You can see that the dish takes on the consistency of mush, but ultimately it may please fans of Italian cuisine.
In summary, we hear that it is the coffee at Ryanair that captivates us the most. “It’s tasty, firecracker,” Dymitr assures. Have you had the opportunity to test the food in the Irish line?
