A Pole is a good tourist. In this country, we spend more than Germany and the British

In terms of spending on vacation in Spain, Poles leave the Germans and British behind. The reason is quite surprising.
According to the latest data of the Ministry of Spanish tourism, Poland is a definite leader in terms of spending on vacation per tourist. The average daily costs of Polish travelers in Spain are as much as PLN 140 higher than in the case of guests from Germany. The reason for these surprising results is a completely different style of traveling. While visitors from Western Europe often sit over the hotel pool, Poles will not miss the opportunity to go to a restaurant or museum, thus supplying the region’s economy.
Poles do not save on vacation
Even 189 euros a day – that’s how much a statistical Pole is published during the day on vacation in Spain. This amount includes both the costs of meals and all additional expenses “in the city” – an admission ticket to attractions or buying souvenirs. This is a really large amount, especially if we compare it to the expenses of other nationalities. The Irish people spend 178 euros per day on their heads, and the British who come to Spain by far the most – 176 euros. The daily costs of maintaining an average German, who leaves “only” 165 euros during the day in Spain seem surprisingly low.
We don’t like sitting in one place
The hotel and beach are definitely not the only places where we will see a Pole during the holidays in Spain. Magdalena Adamczyk, a representative of Gran Canaria for Poland, has already talked about this interesting phenomenon for “Wprost”. “A tourist from Poland is considered a nice tourist (…). Residents like us that we are curious about the world, that we are not stopping at the hotel to only aged. At the Columbus Museum, we had the highest visiting statistics thanks to Poles, “explained the specialist. Leaving a safe hotel zone translates into higher expenses. In addition to sunbathing, Poles in Spain primarily focus on visiting cities (79 percent of visitors) and shopping (64 percent).
