A Pole detained near Hamburg. He was carrying 103 pigeons
The inspection was carried out on Wednesday, November 20, at a motorway parking lot near Siek, between Lübeck and Hamburg. Police officers stated that the carrier pigeons transported by our countryman did not have enough space in their crates, which was a threat to their health and life.
The man explained that pigeon racing was his hobby. As he said, he bought the birds in Germany and transported them to Poland in his Passat. The local police did not allow him to continue his journey in this way. He had to return the animals to the owner until they could be transported appropriately. Only then will he be able to bring them back to his loft.
