A plane instead of a train. Wizz Air announces connections that will change traveling
The Wizz Air airline has announced more routes. This time tourists from Wrocław and Gdańsk will fly to the popular European city among Poles.
Wizz Air once again connects Poland with Hungary. The carrier announced two new cruises to Budapest – this time from Wrocław and Gdańsk. Tickets for flights that will be inaugurated on June 30 and July 1 are already available on the carrier’s website, and their prices start from PLN 89. This means that traveling by plane from Poland to the Hungarian capital will not only be faster and more convenient, but also cheaper than in the case of a train.
From Wrocław and Gdańsk to Budapest
The capital of Hungary is one of the best European cities for Fast City Break. Now Budapest will become even better connected to Poland, due to the next connections of the Wizz Air airline. The Hungarian carrier responded to the great interest of its clients and decided to launch routes from Wrocław and Gdańsk. Until now, the line has been flying to the Hungarian capital only from the main airport in Warsaw. “Wizz Air will start flights from Gdańsk to Budapest, offering three cruises a week – on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. On July 1, 2025, the line will inaugurate connections from Wrocław to Budapest, which will be implemented twice a week – on Tuesdays and Saturdays” – informs the carrier’s press office.
A trip for less than PLN 100
The city of less than 2 million inhabitants on the Danube, known among others From the magnificent parliament, the islands of Małgorzata, the Fisherman’s Tower and the Gellert Hill, it has been visited for years by crowds of tourists from Poland. This is facilitated by numerous rail and bus connections. Compared to the aircraft, however, such a trip is much longer, and thus less comfortable. People who choose trains and buses do not have to save on their journey. Wizz Air ticket prices in the case of connections with Wrocław start from PLN 89, and for the route from Gdańsk – from PLN 109. This is definitely less than the classic land journey costs. Unfortunately, the perspective changes if we intend to bring many souvenirs from Budapest – then the cost of additional luggage on the plane can significantly increase the price of the trip.
