A paradise from all inclusive not only for Poles. Tourists from this country will return there after years

Szarm el-Szejk

Poles will meet more tourists from this country on the beaches in Szarm El-Szkk. The popular travel agency will resume flights to the Egyptian resort.

Sharm El-Shech on the Red Sea is well known to all Poles. Soon, more tourists from Great Britain will also come to the popular Egyptian resort. The popular TUI travel agency intends to run direct flights on the route with East Midlands three years after their suspension. This can be an important step to restore fashion to this direction among the English, Scots, Welsh and Irish people who are more likely to travel to Spain or Portugal.

British in Sharm El-Schak

Today, you can easily find tourists from Great Britain in Sharm El-Shekk. However, they do not arrive as largely as two decades ago. A large distance separating London from the Egyptian resort is just one of the reasons (a flight from the English capital to the Red Sea lasts 5 hours and 20 minutes, while they will reach Majorca in just over two hours). “It is estimated that at the peak period of Sharm El-Szaczk was visited annually by 600,000 tourists from Great Britain. His popularity dropped significantly in 2015, when in a terrorist attack on a Russian passenger plane all 224 people on board were killed,” writes Metro.

Since then, the British Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised against this direction to its citizens. This changed only just before Pandemia, which again moved the holiday plans of the British. However, it seems that now Szarm El-Schak will return to the offer of local tour operators for good.

TUI is restoring flights

Tui has just taken a step in this direction, which announced the restoration of flights to the East Middlands Sharar from March 2026. At the same time, more articles promoting Egypt among readers appear in the British media.

The biggest advantage of Sharm El-Szyk is definitely the weather. “There is no bad time to visit here,” writes Metro. This is undoubtedly an important argument for those who so far preferred to fly to much closer to Spain and Portugal, where the holiday season is much shorter.
