A new tourist resort in a beloved country. Up to a million tourists will come here

Tourists fly to hot Egypt at different times of the year. Soon they will be able to visit a completely new resort in the heart of picturesque landscapes. This is a great design and many interesting possibilities.
I am talking about an investment organized in Egypt as part of the “Great Transfiguration” project. In the town of Święt Katarzyna at the foot of the Sinai Mountain, new tourist centers were built, in which even millions of tourists will rest a year. All this is to be open in May 2025.
A new resort in Egypt
A complex of mountain hotels, apartments, villas, room square, a hospital specializing in herbal medicine and an information and conference and business center hollowed in rocks were built in the vicinity of the southern Sinai. Everything is to be available for visitors, including pilgrims. Until now, there have always been a lack of accommodation and good infrastructure, soon the reality is to look better.
15 billion Egyptian pounds were invested in the work. They covered as many as 13,000 m2 of the village of Święt Katarzyna. Last renovations are currently underway and everything is prepared for a great opening. Well -known operators from the hotel industry, i.e. Steigenberger and Marriott, will be dealt with in this area.
“After the implementation of the entire project” Great Transfiguration “Mount Moses and the monastery of St. Katarzyna will visit a million, instead of 100,000 tourists a year, “Atef Abdel Latif from the Sinai Sinai Investors Association announced.
Not only a new resort, but also an airport
It will not end at the new resort itself. An international airport with a 3 km long runway was also built in Egypt. We will find them about 20 km from the city. It is known that it is adapted to operate 600 passengers per hour, with a parking board for eight medium -distance aircraft. The port will be available in the second half of 2025. This means that the first guests of new facilities in Saint Catherine, who plan to rest for May or June, will still have to use the option of arriving at another airport.
Will it be worth flying there? Definitely yes and not only because of new tourist facilities. Historical attractions are a hit. Saint Catherine’s monastery is the oldest such object in Egypt and is located in a beautiful scenic point. In addition, like many other surrounding temples, it is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
An important place is also the mountain of Moses (Sinai), identified with the biblical Horeb Mountain. According to the Old Testament entries, Moses was to receive stone boards with the Decalogue from God.
