A new situation of Iga Świątek in the WTA ranking. The Polish woman felt the last defeats

The second in the WTA and third racer ranking. In such places there is Iga Świątek in the latest rankings of world tennis.
It is worth recalling that in the last two tournaments in the Middle East, Iga Świątek reached the semi -final in Dosze, and then the quarter -finals in Dubai. In both cases, they were WTA rank tournaments. The Polish tennis player achieved solid results, but worse – comparing the year 2024. For this reason, there was a point loss in the WTA ranking.

How exactly did it translate into points? Świątek, as the runner -up of the ranking, loses 1091 points to Aryna Sabalenka. The point space is therefore new in relation to the pursuit of Polish women for the Belarusian. There are more points to make up than it was before two tournaments, successively in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
Interestingly, in the top ten made her debut Mirrir Andrejew. The Russian woman with only 17 years old won during the WTA 1000 in Dubai, and in the quarter -finals she just eliminated Świątek. Andrejew jumped in place number 9 in the WTA ranking and it seems that she has not yet said the last word regarding consistent climbing even higher in ranking levels.

Interestingly, in the case of a seventeen -year -old from Krasnoyarsk, it is in fourth place in the so -called WTA Race ranking. This is a point list only for the current year. The leader is the winner of the Grand Slam Australian Open Madison Keys. Behind the American’s back is Aryna Sabalenek, and Iga Świątek is classified in third place.
Iga Świątek and all its championships
The Polish woman in her career so far has reached a total of 22. Championship titles at the courts almost all over the world.
Świątek triumphed in five struggles in a great shelter, four times on the courts of Roland Garros (2020, 2022, 2023 and 2024) and once at the US Open (2022). In addition, the prestigious triumph in WTA Finals (2023) should be added.
In addition, won in WTA 1000 rank tournaments, respectively in Rome (2021, 2022, 2024), Dosze (2022 and 2024), Indian Wells (2022 and 2024), Miami (2022), Beijing (2023) and Madrid (2024).
The list also includes the WTA 500 struggle, successively: Adelajda (2021), Stuttgart (2022 and 2023), San Diego (2022) and the aforementioned Dosze (2023). Plus Polish accent, WTA 250 in Warsaw (2023).
After the Olympic tournament in Paris (2024), the bronze medal of the Games should be added to this list. The first album in the history of Polish Olympicism pulled out of competition on tennis courts.
