Some passengers use air connections despite fear. Thanks to these workshops, the Polish airport will help them overcome fears and borders.

Fear of flying is a common phenomenon even among tourists who have already used air connections. The fear that the plane on the deck will be located will fall to the ground soon, can be born suddenly, even after many flights. The fear of finding yourself in the air paralyzes and discourages further travels. Wrocław Airport has recently decided to help passengers affected by this problem within special psychoeducational workshops. The creators ensure that this is not the last edition of the event.

Workshops for those who are afraid to fly

Wrocław Airport has created a special workshop that helps to overcome the fear of flying. Participation in an all -day event organized on July 12 was free, and there was no shortage of volunteers. The stories of the participants were different – among the guests there were both people who never crossed the threshold of the airport and those who had the opportunity to fly, but do not remember it too well. “I made two travels by plane with my family, or four flights. I was flying as a 36-year-old for the first time. After this experience I came to the conclusion that traveling by plane is not for me. The very stay at the airport arouses fear in me. Wrocław.

The next edition soon

The workshops consisted of several parts, and the most important of them was a meeting with a psychologist. “During this part of the workshop, you could find out what fear is and why he stays on, how to work with him, to be able to fly and how to deal with emotions during the flight,” we read.

Very often during passengers, it helps to realize that emotions increase only to a point. “Then, when they reach their peak, they begin to fall,” says the psychologist, Łukasz Zdebelak.

Participants also visited the airport, including places inaccessible to passengers. It is already known that the second edition will take place in September. “Applications can be submitted at: (Email Protected)” – says Gazeta Wrocławska.
