A new holiday trend among Poles. “A hotel swimming pool is not enough”
Not long ago it was a holiday hit. Today, more and more Poles are giving up all inclusive and choosing completely different forms of travel.
Just a few years ago, all-inclusive holidays in Egypt or Turkey were synonymous with a dream vacation for many Poles. Today, however, more and more people choose a completely different way of traveling.

As it turns out, 57 percent tourists from Poland went on an all-inclusive holiday at least once in their lives. Yet only 15 percent indicates this model as his favorite way of relaxation. 27 percent chooses it sporadically, and subsequent ones 15 percent admits that they used to take advantage of such an offer, but now they prefer a completely different style of traveling. At the same time, almost every third respondent has never decided to go on such a trip, a 11 percent declares that he does not go on vacation at all.
The main reason for giving up all inclusive is the desire to organize trips on your own. Yes it replied 32 percent people who do not choose hotels with a full package.

Are all-inclusive holidays becoming a thing of the past?
Every fourth respondent does not like large hotels and crowded resorts, and a 24 percent believes that truly getting to know the country begins outside the resort: in local restaurants, smaller towns and in contact with the inhabitants.
Only later does the financial argument appear. A quarter of respondents admit that the cost of an all-inclusive holiday is simply too high for them.

Interestingly, the food – often considered the greatest asset of all inclusive – is rarely the subject of criticism. Just 7 percent respondents complain about the quality of hotel meals, a 12 percent he is mainly afraid of… overeating while on vacation.

Rising prices make many tourists plan their expenses more carefully before leaving. The most popular way to reduce costs is to choose an off-season date. This solution is declared by 24 percent. people planning a vacation.
23 percent decides on cheaper accommodation, such as apartments, hostels or guesthouses. Every fifth respondent buys their holiday well in advance, and an equally large group organizes the entire trip themselves instead of using the services of a travel agency. 18 percent chooses less crowded destinations, and the same percentage gives up foreign holidays in favor of rest in Poland.
The savings also apply to the stay itself. 15 percent limits paid attractions, 14 percent hunts for last minute offers or takes advantage of promotions, a 13 percent prepares some meals on his own.
There are also more unusual ways of cutting costs. 5 percent respondents spend the night in a car or in a tent, 4 percent takes food from the hotel breakfast for later, a 2 percent hitchhikes. Still 16 percent respondents declare that they do not intend to save on anything during their holidays.
