A new expressway in Poland. It was not accidentally created

The project is dealt with by the Parliamentary Team for the construction of the Via Pomerania expressway. An expertise was published on Tuesday. The road would run through Ustka, the “capital” of Central Pomerania – Słupsk, Chojnice, Tuchola, Bydgoszcz, Inowrocław, Konin and Kalisz.

A new expressway will be created? Its main purpose of ensuring safety

Via Pomerania is the most important element of “Pact for Poland’s security – Central Pomerania”. It assumes the creation of an infrastructure and defense network, which will provide logistics conditions for the army in the event of an armed conflict – there is a security issues here.

However, the project must go through the executive power – the Council of Ministers, which can also transfer funds for the construction of the road. When the process starts, the creation of the expressway can take up to a decade – unless the government would adopt a special law, enabling easy acquisition of land, then construction could take seven and a half years. The cost of the entire undertaking was estimated at PLN 12 billion – writes Gazeta.pl.

100,000 soldiers

Maciej Samsonowicz pointed out that the infrastructure must arise so that in the event of “in” (sudden situation) a large number of troops could be located in appropriate places.

– We are talking about a situation when exercise parameters follow at our eastern border that exceed the exercise parameters and are identified by us as preparation for invasion. At this point, we must respond with our own exercises showing that a very large number of allied troops, e.g. 100,000 (soldiers – editor’s note), can reach our country from different directions and be placed properly – notes the adviser to the Minister of National Defense.
