A new direction from Ryanair? Poles will fly directly to the hot coast

Wybrzeże Castellon

It looks like the popular carrier will soon launch a new route from Poland. This is another hot destination in the Ryanair network.

Ryanair does not stop and still wants to develop its base in Poland. According to the carrier’s statistics, one of the favorite destinations for tourists from our country is definitely Spain. It is no wonder that more and more Polish cities are gaining further connections with resorts on the Iberian Peninsula. The latest destination that the Irish low-budget airline may soon announce is Castellón airport on the Costa del Azahar. Currently, there is no direct connection between our country and the Spanish city.

Azahar Coast from Krakow in 2025

Located about 100 kilometers north of the center of Valencia, the town of Castellón is part of the Costa del Azahar, known as the “Orange Blossom Coast”, where charming fruit trees are grown. This is a year-round destination that has much more to offer than beaches. Passengers from Krakow will be able to see this for themselves in the next holiday season. At least this is the result of the development plans for the Castellón-Costa Azahar international airport, reported by the El Economista daily and the Polish aviation website Fly4free.pl. According to the airport authorities, in the summer of 2025, residents of this region of Spain will fly on board Ryanair not only to the capital of Lesser Poland, but also to Budapest. In turn, Air Nostrum will launch connections to Madrid and Majorca.

Ryanair does not confirm

Ryanair has not yet confirmed the surprise or the exact launch date of the route. “As for new holiday destinations, the offer for summer 2025 is being finalized,” the carrier’s press office reported. The connection between Krakow and Castellón did not appear in the carrier’s booking system either. According to Spanish media, flights from Krakow to the Orange Blossom Coast will operate twice a week. “Importantly, the contract is to be valid for 4 years, so there is a guarantee that the connection will be maintained for a longer period,” we read in Fly4free.pl. Travelers need to keep their finger on the pulse not only about possible Costa Azahar flights. There is a chance that the carrier, popular among Poles, will soon announce other novelties in its schedule.
