The Lipusz Forest District uses social media as a platform for sharing curiosities about various animals and vegetation with Internet users. One of the last posts on Facebook was dedicated to bees.

“The season of bees roses. Spring and the beginning of summer is a time when nature comes to life – also in apiaries. It is now that bees start one of the most spectacular stages of their life cycle – a swarm,” reads on Facebook.

The Lipusz Forest District also gave several useful advice in case someone was in close proximity to the swarm. In such a situation, follow the two simple steps: “Don’t panic! Keep calm and don’t try to chase it away. Report it to a local beekeeper – many of them will gladly take a swarm and will provide bees with a new ul.”

“Swarms are a fascinating and important phenomenon in the life of bees – this is their way to survive and expand. It is worth knowing to react responsibly and respectfully to these extremely useful insects,” – emphasized at the end.
