A journey to the end of the world without leaving Poland. It is only 35 minutes away from Poznań

The film location is located in Poland. If you’ve ever dreamed of traveling to the end of the world, it turns out you can do it easily. There is no need to cross borders.
A plaque with the name “The End of the World” is located in one of the Polish villages. You can surprise yourself by traveling around the quiet surroundings of the province. Greater Poland. This is where the Głuszyna-Podlas stop awaits us. It is of exceptional importance to residents and tourists. It attracts visitors from all over the country and has even attracted the interest of Netflix.
The end of the world in Poland
If you were looking for the end of the world somewhere beyond Polish borders, you were making a mistake. This is what one green plaque proves. You can see it in many photos and recordings, but above all live – by visiting Głuszyna in person. What village is this? It turns out that it hides many secrets, and interestingly, it is almost deserted, as there are only two houses there.
Next to the sign, which mainly marks the hamlet of the village, there is a special green bench where you can sit and take a photo. This place has been visited many times, including: by cyclists traveling around Poland. Some people come there by car to feel the local atmosphere.
Recently, we have been able to use not only a bench in the area, but also a tourist shelter – this one was created because more and more people were interested in the place. There we can shelter from the rain, eat and rest. In addition, in the area you will find a place for a bonfire, a large square ideal for free accommodation in a camper or tent, and a point for drawing drinking water.
Głuszyna is closer than you think
Getting to the end of the world is easier than many people think. It’s only 3.5 hours by car from Warsaw and up to 2.5 hours from Łódź. Of course, the inhabitants of Wielkopolska will be closest to it. From Poznań we will reach Głuszyna in 35 minutes. Reaching your destination by public transport may be difficult. An easy solution would be, for example, taking a bicycle on the train and riding a bicycle to the village. Thanks to this, we will not only discover an interesting place, but also experience an additional adventure.
Many famous people have already reached the Polish end of the world, including: journalists and representatives of Netflix. Two years ago, the Netflix Polska YouTube channel published a report on the unveiling of a local monument, which was part of the promotion of one of the series.
