A huge bang in Enerhodar. The car in which a Russian collaborator was driving exploded
Ukrainian military intelligence reported that on Friday morning there was a powerful car explosion in the occupied Enerhodar area (Zaporizhia Oblast). Andriy Korotkyj was in the vehicle. He is a “collaborator and traitor of Ukraine,” says news.online.ua.
Korotkyj was the head of security (director of the security department) at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. He was involved in organizing and carrying out repressions against the people of Enerhodar, Ukrainian sources claim.

When the Russians occupied the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant, Korotkyj agreed to voluntarily cooperate with the Russians. He provided them with a list of employees, including their personal data. He also indicated the names of people who were characterized by attachment to Ukraine. He was a member of the United Russia party and headed the “council of deputies” in Enerhodar. He supported the Russian invaders as much as he could.
It is worth adding that the plant employs employees from the state-owned company Rosatom (a Russian capital group specializing in nuclear energy).
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine published a video on the X platform showing the moment of the explosion. The former head of security at ZNPP was in a white vehicle. In the recording, in addition to the image, you can also hear a huge bang. After the explosion, the vehicle caught fire and began to smoke.
“We remind people that every war criminal will be justly punished,” Ukrainian intelligence wrote on Telegram.
Enerhodar. A bomb was planted under Korotkyj’s car
The director of the plant in Enerhodar commented on the incident on Friday. Yuri Chernichuk said the attack was a “reckless and outrageous” decision, given that he was an employee who was responsible for the security of a nuclear facility.
The Investigative Committee of Russia also wrote about the attack. It was reported that there was a bomb under the car of the head of the ZNPP security department. The explosion itself took place near his house.
