Thai police have confirmed the death of three foreign tourists who died in a hotel fire in the country’s capital. The incident took place on Sunday in the center of Bangkok, on Khao San Road, which is famous among backpackers. The fire suddenly broke out in one of the rooms on the 5th floor of the six-story Ember Hotel. There were 75 people in the building at the time of the threat. At this time, the nationality of the victims has not been made public. The case is under investigation.

According to Thai media, one person died on the spot and two more in hospital. Several more tourists who suffered from smoke poisoning still require hospitalization. The nationality and age of the victims have not been confirmed by the police, who are still investigating the case. The causes of the accident remain unknown. Concerns about New Year’s Eve in Bangkok are growing
