A great surprise for the Pole at the Olympics. She was a victim of brutal hate

Pola Bełtowska

Pola Bełtowska received a gift from volunteers for Winter Olympics 2026. The Polish ski jumper was the victim of brutal hate. This is a very nice gesture for a debutant at the Olympics.

We wrote about the scandal related to the attack on Pola Bełtowska in a separate text in WPROST. The Pole received a lot of messages on social media regarding her performances during the 2026 Winter Olympics. The teenage debutant did not fare well during the individual competition, but also in the mixed competition.

WINTER 2026: A beautiful gesture for Pola Bełtowska. Polka with flowers on the ski jump

A very nice change was the support that occurred shortly after what Bełtowska talked about. The ski jumper received a lot of positive feedback, and in addition, she was supported by, among others, Polish Ski Association, in a special statement.

However, this is not the end, because a nice surprise was waiting for the Pole on Saturday (i.e. February 14) during training on the large hill in Predazzo. Bełtowska received roses from the Winter Winter Olympics 2026 volunteers who wanted to support and cheer up the Polish representative.

– I’m very positively surprised, it’s really lovely. I love flowers, especially roses. It was a bull’s-eye. I was told it was from all the volunteers who work during the games. It was suggested that I should not worry about the behavior of some people online and do my own thing (…) It’s also very nice, because I don’t have such contact with them on a daily basis, and yet they give me nice words when we pass each other. It’s really nice that you can count on each other, said Bełtowska in an interview for skijumping.pl.

On Sunday (i.e. February 15) there will be the 2026 Winter Winter Olympics for ski jumpers on the large hill in Predazzo. Start at 6:45 p.m.

2026 Games in Italy. Where and when to watch the Poles’ starts?

The Polish national team during the opening games consists of 60 athletes. In the 21st century, there has never been a time when a Polish woman or a Pole was not on the Olympic podium during the Winter Olympics. During the last winter games, Poland finished the competition with one medal. The bronze medal was won by ski jumper Dawid Kubacki in the normal hill competition.

It is already known that Kubacki’s result was beaten at the Winter Olympics 2026 by a debutant among Olympians – Kacper Tomasiak. The 19-year-old enormous talent won the silver medal in the normal hill competition in Predazzo.

Another Olympic runner-up, Vladimir Semirunni, who made his debut at the Winter Olympics, was also runner-up in the 10 km speed skating race.

In the history of the Olympic Games, the Polish team has won a total of 25 medals – seven gold, nine silver and nine bronze, respectively. Interestingly, the first bronze medal for Poland was won by Franciszek Gąsienica-Groń (Nordic combined) almost exactly 70 years ago, during the Olympic Games in… Cortina d’Ampezzo. This year, history has come full circle in a beautiful Italian-Polish Olympic circle.

Broadcasts from Winter Olympics 2026 in Poland are provided by Telewizja Polska (TVP) and the Discovery group (Eurosport). The event will last until Sunday, February 22.
