On Monday evening, the Polish national football team will finish its group competition in the UEFA Nations League. The match against Scotland will be a huge test.
Coach Michał Probierz has been working with the Polish national team for over a year. There is no denying that the results of the national team in recent months are not optimistic. Before the final round in the A division of the UEFA Nations League, the Poles are not sure of continuing. The hosts will face the Scots at PGE Narodowy.
Michał Probierz has big problems. A revolution in the composition of the national team
After the defeat in the match against Portugal (1:5), the coach of the Polish team had to make many adjustments to the squad. We informed about the national team’s health report over the weekend. Ultimately, there were as many as seven changes in the match squad, i.e. the team in which coaches select a group of 23 players available for the match, compared to what could be seen on Friday evening.

The team was missing the injured: Bartosz Bereszyński, Jan Bednarek, Taras Romanczuk – three players who started the match against Portugal in the starting lineup. However, the following were included in the match squad: Bartosz Kapustka, Michał Gurgul, Karol Świderski and the emergency summoned Mateusz Wieteska. One of the players who will watch the match against Scotland from the stands, i.e. he was not included in the match squad, is the fourth goalkeeper – Bartosz Mrozek.
Ultimately, the starting ranking of Poles is as follows.
It must be admitted that the absence of Kacper Urbański is quite surprising, and the bet from the very first minute on Jakub Moder, recently absent, among others, during the away match against Portugal.
