More and more accommodation facilities in Poland are opening to accept guests with pets. Thanks to this, you can plan a rest surrounded by nature and not worry about looking for loved ones or friends who take care of your pet during our absence.

“From year to year, more and more people want to travel with their pets. We noticed that the tourist market has changed in this respect. Guests are eager to take a dog or cat on trip,” says Catherine Martins Wprost “Director of investor relations from the Sun & Snow group.

It is up to the owner of the holiday apartment, also in a given hotel, whether he agrees to receive guests with animals. – We must remember that individual apartments have their owner. It may happen that the owner of a particular object says no. And as an operator, we must respect it – adds the representative of the group.

The most difficult in this respect in cities, specifically in business locations.

“Some owners in large cities do not want the possibility of renting with animals, while in typical tourist facilities there is more and more openness.

One fear dominates among skeptical people.

– First of all, allergies. The owners are concerned that despite the thorough cleaning of objects in the high season, some hair will remain somewhere. However, there are possibilities on the market to prevent this, e.g. ozonation of rooms. In Sun & Snow, no incident involving four -legged, e.g. with other guests or a bite, happened to us. However, we always remind you that both owners and tourists must follow certain rules. Not everyone accepts that the dogs enter, for example, the gastronomic zone and this is understandable, “explains Catherine Martins.

Calm places in Masuria. Forest paths to the lake

Tourists going on vacation with animals do not only have to look for beaches away from the crowds. “I would definitely recommend Warmia and Masuria, less mass tourism is also a convenience for animals,” says Catherine Martins. A good direction on vacation will be Karwica, next to Ruciane-Nida.

– This is an insane place! It is not without reason that Agnieszka Osiecka was in love with him, I could also talk about Karwica for hours. It is a perfect destination to go with quadrupeds to relax and turn off from daily ongoing in the environment of beautiful nature – literally at your fingertips, just outside the window – he encourages. – We can relax, for example, in the heart of the Piska Forest – we leave the accommodation facility almost simply to the forest, and they lead to the lake paths among the trees. And most importantly, many tourists with pets come here for “dogs” – he says.

He also recommends rest in Kashubia, e.g. in Barkin. – We will find cool houses in the style of “slow” (noisy) tourism and large, spaces where you can come with the whole family or a group of friends. There will definitely be a place for a pet – he encourages.
