A dramatic decline in Cyfrowy Polsat’s action. Solorz is preparing lawsuits

Zygmunt Solorz is concerned about the decrease in the Cyfrowy Polsat share course and a reduction in market capitalization by hundreds of millions of zlotys – informs money.pl.

Changes in the authorities of Cyfrowy Polsat

We would like to remind you that a week ago, on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, Cyfrowy Polsat announced significant personal changes. Zygmunt Solorz was dismissed from the function of the chairman of the supervisory board, and his place was taken by Daniel Kaczorowski. Andrzej Abramczuk took the position of the President of the Management Board, replacing Mirosław Błaszczyk. The corrections also concerned other companies controlled by Tivi Foundation, which explained the decision by the need to “improve supervision over the key companies of the Foundation.”

Statement of the lawyer of Zygmunt Solorz

The changes met with criticism of the billionaire lawyer.

“As a result of the unlawful and ineffective actions of three members of the TIVI Foundation Council, anxiety arose on which shareholders are currently lost, looking at the share price, which literally fell since the current report on the allegedly effective dismissal of my client and President Mirosław Błaszczyk from the company’s bodies,” wrote Radosław L. Kwaśnicki in a statement for PAP.

He noted that the company’s capitalization dropped by hundreds of millions of zlotys in a few days, and the quotations on the Warsaw Stock Exchange lowered by over 7 percent. He also emphasized that in the face of responsible persons “legal actions are already undertaken under civil and criminal law.”

Solorz’s family reaction

The children of Zygmunt Solorz assessed the situation differently. As they said, they understand the decision of the TIVI Foundation.

“The resolution was adopted by the Council of the Foundation unanimously, which indicates a deep conviction of the need to take these steps,” they emphasized in the press release.

Their representative, Paweł Rymarz, rejected the allegations formulated by the lawyer of Solorz, claiming that personal decisions were in line with law and procedures.
