Emergency landing in Warsaw
The situation occurred on April 1 before 4pm. The failure concerned only a two -year Airbus A220 Air France. The crew reported the problem with the emerging smoke. Ultimately, the aircraft landed safely with the airport services, and nothing happened to the passengers. There were 139 tourists and 5 crew members on board.
“A plane landed at Chopin Airport. There was to be smoke in the cockpit. The machine landed safely. There are no injured people,” said Artur Węgrzynowicz, reporter of tvnwarszawa.pl. The information was confirmed by Anna Dermont, spokeswoman for Chopin Airport.
It is known that during the emergency landing all operations at Chopin Airport were temporarily suspended. The cause of smoke is unknown. According to Flightradar24, the emergency Airbus did not fly away from Warsaw that day.
Such failures happen
The situation that occurred was not dangerous, and we have heard about similar many times. Is this a panic? In most cases, not. Several incidents took place at the end of last year. Emergency at Chopin Airport had to land, among others Lot flying plane from Copenhagen to Warsaw. Before he did it, he dropped fuel. At that time, the failure was to apply to the braking system. Although such incidents are quickly resolved, they almost always imprint the stigma on passengers. The aforementioned day of landing was shared by Poles in social media, describing them as terrifying.
Another time the Wizz Air line had the problem. The aircraft landed in Warsaw after the pilot was fainted. The situation is saved almost every time by a quick crew response. When you find yourself in a similar one, keep calm and follow the service instructions.
