A difficult start of autumn for drivers. It will not be better yet?

In the past week, fuel prices went up. The exception is autogas, the price of which is the lowest for over four years. What awaits refueling in the first week of autumn? Experts do not have very good news.

Experts e-petrol.pl Dr Jakub Bogucki and Grzegorz Maziak point out that after last week’s discount at the stations there is no trace and fuel-apart from autogas-they are more expensive again. Strong in relation to the dollar, zloty and stabilization of global oil ratings, however, give hope that increases on the retail fuel market in Poland will not gain momentum.

Analysts indicate that in the weekly week, fuel prices have changed slightly on the wholesale market. Gasoline and diesel were slightly stated in relation to the end of last week. A cubic meter of 95-octane gasoline variety has acted over PLN 40.20 over the week and costs an average of PLN 4,531.80. Producers diesel oil is average at PLN 4,689.80/cubic meter. It is nearly PLN 50 more than a week ago.

The passing week was not a very good week for refueling at gas stations. – Only for a short moment we could enjoy the discounts at the stations and in the past week fuel prices went up again. The diesel, whose retail price increased by 6 grosze increased the most. On average, we pay PLN 5.92 per liter of diesel in Poland. 95 unleaded gasoline increased by 3 grosze and returned to the level from the beginning of September – 5.79 PLN/l – Calculate e-petrol.pl experts.

As mentioned, the exception is autogas, which after a reduction by a penny is average valued at PLN 2.58/l. Analysts point out that such cheap LPG at stations was the last time in July 2021.

How many drivers will they pay at the stations in the coming week? For the first week of autumn, e-petrol.pl experts provide for a continuation of increases, although as they point out, the scale of changes should not be large and for now we are not in danger of returning to six-zloty price levels. Forecast price ranges for individual fuel species look as follows:

  • 5.75-5.87 PLN/l for 95-octane gasoline,

  • 5.87-5.98 PLN/l for diesel,

  • 2.55-2.62 PLN/l for autogas.
