A blow to the heart of the Polish national team. Terrible news straight from FC Barcelona

We wrote about the Polish striker at the end of September this year during the Ballon d’Or Gala. The plebiscite organized by “France Football” attracts the biggest stars of both women’s and men’s football every year, and was extremely successful for Ewa Pajor. The Polish woman received the award. Gerd Müller for the best scorer of the 2024/25 season.

This distinction was also received by Robert Lewandowski in the past. Comparisons to “Lewy” in the case of Pajor are absolutely appropriate. The Polish striker has been the best soccer player for many years, looking at the national team, and she is also among the world’s top players.

Moreover, during the aforementioned Ballon d’Or Gala, Pajor not only received the award named after Gerd Müller, but also took a high, eighth place in the general classification of the “France Football” plebiscite. For comparison, RL9 was “rated” at 17th place.

Even more sad is the news that arrived on Sunday (i.e. October 12) regarding the health of the Barcelona striker. The Pole was on the scoresheet again, but she suffered an injury during the Barca match.

It is a sprain injury to the right knee, as announced in the official statement of the FC Barcelona women’s team. The situation is therefore serious and we wish Poland a speedy recovery.

Pajor won the championship and the Spanish Cup in the 2024/25 season. Additionally, FC Barcelona reached the final of the Champions League. In total, the Pole recorded 43 goals and 13 assists. Moreover, for the first time in history, the captain played with the Polish national team at a major championship tournament. We are talking about Euro 2025, where the Polish team finished its participation at the group stage, but recorded a historic victory over the Danes.
