From 2020, according to internal Wprost data, Poles have purchased over 400,000 TVs equipped with processors with neural networks, AI functions and scaling technology.

More than half of Poles positively assess artificial intelligence on TVs

According to research carried out in selected countries in Europe, over 54% of Poles declare a positive attitude to artificial intelligence. This is a higher result than the European average, which is 45%. What’s more, as many as 64% of Polish consumers consider the presence of AI on TVs as desired, and Poland – right after Romania (72%) – is at the forefront of countries most open to the use of AI in RTV devices. According to research conducted by Smartlab on a sample of 600 people in the first quarter of 2025 at the request of Samsung.

Poles are not only enthusiastic about modern technologies, but also aware of their values ​​- as many as 42% of respondents see personal benefits from AI, and 40% see its positive impact on society.

Importantly, in the field of knowledge of Vision AI on TVs, Samsung AI solutions are enjoyed in Poland with the highest level of recognition among all manufacturers – as many as 49% of respondents declare that they know and understand this system. This significantly exceeds the European average, which is 34%. In addition, both Poland and Romania are characterized by the highest indicator of consciousness and understanding of Samsung Vision AI, which is as much as 21%, while the European average is 13%.

Among the functions based on AI, Polish consumers participating in the study particularly value those related to the image and sound – the sound intelligently adapted to the content and space, and the voice amplifier powered by AI were considered the most attractive functions by as much as 79% of respondents, like “AI adaptive mode” and “AI leopard” using artificial intelligence to adapt image, sharpening round objects and traffic liquefaction and text.

The “Samsung Vision AI” technology is a new way to use artificial intelligence in the world of home entertainment, which was first presented at the CES 2025 fair. “Samsung Vision AI” turns screens into intelligent companions who improve the quality of entertainment, simplify interactions with home appliances and integrate smoothly with lifestyle.

The heart of new Samsung TVs, such as the Neo QLED Mini LED QN990F, is the NQ8 AI Gen3 processor, the most advanced system that has hit Samsung devices so far. Equipped with up to 512 neural networks, it enables instant processing of image and sound in real time. Thanks to this, the “AI AI Pro” scaling technology allows upscaling content to resolution as close as possible 8K, regardless of the original resolution of the material.

The processor not only analyzes each scene in terms of contrast, clarity and detail, first and subsequent plans, but also learns the viewer’s preferences. The TV observes what content is most often viewed, what image settings selected, as well as at what times the user uses the device. Based on this data, using machine learning algorithms, it automatically adapts image and sound settings, creating a fully personalized experience.

AI in Samsung TVs, each of us can also train for ourselves based on three basic types of content: film, sport and general. For example, to save your preferences for the Film category, in the windows displayed in each other, we select those scenes that are characterized by the best suited to our preferences to contrast, colors and their tones. We do the same in the case of other categories. From now on, the AI ​​built into the TV already knows how to optimize individual types of content so that the image parameters meet our expectations. When we watch the movie – the TV will automatically show the image in the settings that we like when we watch the sport, it will also recognize what the type of sport is and how, for example, the ball in rugby looks to start the algorithm that cares about its clear image during fast flight.

And when the TV is not actively used to watch, it can turn into an elegant, digital interior decoration. Thanks to the generative wallpaper (AI wallpaper) – the screen becomes an artistic canvas that creates visualizations tailored to the user of the user, the atmosphere of the room or the specific occasion. This is a new dimension of personalization in which technology meets art.

Artificial intelligence also plays a key role in sound processing. Thanks to the “Sound following the PRO object” technology, the TV analyzes the image and precisely adapts the sound to the action visible on the screen. Audio effects move with objects, and the dialogues remain clear even in a loud environment. In addition, the system includes the viewer’s position in the room, adjusting the direction and sound intensity, which creates the impression of presence in the very center of events.
